My only remaining question is if there is any exhaust smell with a test pipe and if so how much? I know this question has been covered before but the answers always seem to be inconsistent. I've read about how people with a test pipe end up getting an exhaust smell in the car at stoplights because there is no cat. I've also read about how people with a test pipe get no smell at all. So which is it?

I'm going back and forth in deciding which one I'll go with, and at this point its pretty much down to the smell. If there is quite the stench I'll go with the HFC and if not I might opt for the test pipe. So anyway to make this short and sweet I just had a few questions on mods: (I want to get everything at once so I can just get 1 tune.) Goals are Mid 300 ish AWHP and I am not partial to any one vendor or company as far as aftermarket parts go. I look for reliability, and a trust worthy company. Also, looking to stay pretty much stock without major modification. Anyway here goes.

1. Drop-in air filter ( I’m assuming K&N is the way to go here, as I have only used K&N on all my other vehicles) Don’t really want to go with a full blown intake setup.
2. TBE (I don’t want it to be loud. In fact I like the stock exhaust, but I know with more power, u need to have the ability to make the car breathe more efficiently. So basically im looking for an exhaust that goes to be quite. Stock quite. While at the same time give me some good feedback on a tune.)
3. I don’t know if it would be beneficial at all to get a bigger intercooler, or more efficient one?
4. I will be tuned by Boomba in IL.
So basically my main questions here are:

1. Would you add anything to this list?
2. What else would I be doing to hit mid 300ish AWHP?
